I have taken quite a hiatus on blogging, but I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Please drive safe, especially on Main Street and Third Street, where accidents have been regular lately.

And congratulations to incoming council members Jim Snyder and Fred Walter!

The new council members will be sworn in January 3 at 7PM.

Mark Reichart, re-elected, and Anthony Weaver, elected to a to fill out the term he was appointed to, will also be sworn in at that meeting.

I will be sworn in as Mayor (for the term to begin Jan. 1st, 2006) today at District Magistrate Bowman's office at 5:30PM in order to be ready to swear them in on the 3rd.
