I recently sat on a Penn State Cooperative Extension panel comprised of Monica Dutko, Adams County's director of elections, myself, an elected Township Supervisor and a School Board member to give over 40 people in the local area tips on how to run for local office.

Snow Emergency in Effect
Effective 2/13/2007 at 11:00AM, a Snow Emergency will be in effect in McSherrystown Borough.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area until 4:00PM Wednesday.
3"-7" of snow with up to 1/4" of ice is expected through tomorrow afternoon.
DURING A SNOW EMERGENCY, PARKING IS PROHIBITED ON SOME STREETS WHERE POSTED (i.e. NORTH & SOUTH STREET).
Local schools have announced early dismissal.
Annunciation BVM has set early dismissal to 11:45AM
Delone Catholic has early dismissal at 11:30AM
Conewago Valley School District:
Seventh - Twelfth Grade will be dismissed at 11:00AM
Kindergarten - Sixth Grade will be dismissed at 11:45AM
